He is the only one who truly loves us and has been selflessly devoting his whole life to our well being. He is more than a father; he's a Savior in Flesh.
We are so complacent. We totally depend on him for everything and for so long.
We will be so lost without him and his unfathomable wisdom.
One day when we wake up and find him gone, we will wish we could follow him.
We will definitely have no one else to turn to.
And that is when we will KNOW what it feels like to be an orphan...
The current government is the most corrupt regime ever--
From top to bottom, there is not a single soul in the Cabinet worthy of respect. May they all soon rot in Hell. And may their names be erased for all eternity.
Money is the absolute power--
It buys you votes, and with those, a political position and power--which, consequentially, gives you the instant right to LEGALLY ROB the country.
And the biggest kick of all is this: there is NO WAY to prosecute you, ever!!
Parliament and Senate are a pathetic joke--
The majority are members of the ruling party who came in with a sole objective in mind - to rob the country and allot national treasures among themselves.
They have also created and implemented laws and acts that conveniently benefit and accommodate their various businesses, including tax evasion.
The whole country belongs to a few clans--
These clans control major industries (telecom, press, healthcare, machinery, etc.), financial institutions, construction companies, consumer product manufacturing facilities, utilities companies, majority of land in prime locations, agricultural product manufacturing network, airlines and airport authorities, just about anything you can think of.
Oh, the list includes police and similar low-life thugs with no brains.
Extensive corruption, bribery, and nepotism are a way of Thai Life--
You can hardly find any straightforward way of doing things in Thailand.
EveryONE and everyTHING have its own PRICE.
Money is the most potent lubricant.
Democracy is a distant shadowy dream--
The government takes total control of media. Opposition voices are harassed and suppressed.
Low-income people are deeply in debt--
The government agenda is to enslave the entire population.
Goods are increasingly expensive--
People in the government have no solutions to deal with economic problems. They don't need to, for they are not affected by any of these problems.
Major financial institutions, industries, and land are increasingly owned by foreigners--
Thailand is up for sale. Before it is all sold out, those in the government--who will handsomely benefit from the deals--have already relocated their place to live, taking along the treasures they stole from us. (That is, if they can escape people's wrath in time.)
Children gradually fall behind their peers in other countries--
They are stupid, rude, selfish, undisciplined, fat, and lazy.
They are not taught good virtues and values (because most of their parents don't know these either).
They have no idea that they lag behind children of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, neighbors who were once far behind us. Right now, they are surpassing us.
Youths are sucked into a whirlwind of materialism--
Centers of Excess are all around BKK encouraging teenagers to hang around in a world of extravagance.
Kids are encouraged to spend but not taught how to earn. We are creating a new generation of economic slaves and beggars.
Standard of education is poor--
Education is not a serious national agenda. A lot of underachievers have become our children's teachers.
Sexual abuses of children are prevalent--
There has been NO serious action from the government and authorities. Why?
Because it's the politicians, policemen, businessmen, government employees, monks, and teachers who solicit sex from children. Believe it or not, sometimes the children's own mothers act as the caterers to these sex predators.
Rape-and-murder cases make daily headlines--
There is NOTHING done in this department either. Why? Because it hasn't happened to politicians' wives or daughters yet.
Morality is way down--
Government is the host of national gamble--the biweekly lottery draw. Soon, casinos will be legalized; these casinos all belong to politicians.
Promiscuity is socially glorified and widely accepted as a norm. Whoever doesn't practice this is labeled as "out of date."
Good virtues are forsaken--
Doing good things and being honest get you nowhere. In addition, they help add a "Here Is An Idiot" label to your name and reputation. Instead of being called a hero, you will be called a moron.
Murder of infants and widespread abortion make frequent headlines--
Premature sex among teenagers is common.
Religions are no longer secred--
Many monks are criminals (rapists, murderers, child abusers, thieves, and robbers) who have escaped from law and justice, hid in monasteries, and found an easy comfortable life without having to work, either. People bring them food and money and give them respect they normally can't get anywhere. These NEVER have real faith. They see monkhood as a profession and a perfect hiding place where they can continue to take advantage of poor lost souls. These monks will seek financial gain, worldly pleasure, and sexual gratification from the faithful. They prey on victims' vulnerability. And when they are caught, they just simply move to another temple!
Human right violation is at all time high
Some parts of the country are in a lawless state.
The government does not care to solve the problems.
